Presto Prosecco Brut

This past weekend I started reading previous blogs and realized that I was lacking alittle something....a sparkling wine! So while walking through the store I picked up a bottle of NV (non-vintage meaning multiple years of harvests blended together) Presto Prosecco Brut and I am so glad that I did. Presto Prosecco D.O.C. is a product of Italy made from a blend of grapes. This Prosecco has an 11% alcohol level and was sealed with a natural cork.

Presto Prosecco had a pale champagne color with thousands of tiny little bubbles that tingled the tongue. The nose was slightly sweet with hints of rich, red delicious apple, lemon zest, honeydew, and tropical fruits of pineapple. The palate confirmed the nose with notes of pineapple, fresh lemon peels, tart green apples, fresh bread, and a crisp, fresh finish. This Prosecco had a nice balance of fruit and bubbles that was a refreshing end to a wonderful day.
